2021 Viognier

This South Okanagan Viognier shows elegant aromas of juicy apricot, orchard blossoms, and honeysuckle, along with a hint of sweet spices from a delicate use of French oak. Textured and richly concentrated, there’s a beautiful balance of freshness and sun-soaked ripeness.

Viticulture

Our focus when growing Viognier is on careful canopy management and precise picking decisions to retain acidity and capture ripe fruit flavours without excessive sugar levels.

Winemaking

The fruit was whole-cluster pressed and then fermented in a combination of stainless steel and seasoned French oak barriques using select yeast strains. After tasting, malolactic conversion was blocked to preserve freshness. The wine was then aged on its fine lees for ten months prior to bottling.
